Future of the Kenyan Runner
In the recent weeks, there as been number of issues that are so disturbing to the kenyan athletes, starting from poor management of the athletes, lack of training facilities in kenya, high cost of living and finally government taxes.
I wonder what will be the future of the kenyan athlete if the situation will be going to be like this. Runners are going trough hard life, imagine some run with wore shoes where you can see the toes and other live alife without clear hope for tomorrow,
Let ask this simple questions;
(a) Is Athletics Kenya have a list of all elite runners in the country?
(b) Is the Athletics Kenya help those runners from very poor family who show running talent even though most of the Kenyan runners are from poor Families?
(c) Is Kenyan government making sports facilities available for sportspeople in the country?
(d) What is the government doing to care for the runners who brings glory to this country since most of the runners die in very poor and unbearable state. And leave nothing for their families to be proud of?
(e) Since most of the kenyan runners come from poor family background, what Athletics kenya is doing or the government to educate this runners so that they live the dream of theri athletics career?
There are so many questions but there is nothing we can do since life in Kenya is becoming so hard. And if we get help from outside Kenya, always there is import taxes which is also a burden to athletes who get aid from outside the country!
I will always encourage all the athletes and sportspeople in Kenya and other parts of the world to keep pushing, who know what is in the next stage?!!!
Keep going

Successful 2014
Here comes 2014, as sports people there are a lot we have planned already, maybe personal Best, Course record, dream race, first 10km, Half marathon or Marathon.
All we need is to prepare or set priorities and work towards that goals.
We wish everyone a blessed year with a lot of achievements and PBs
Enjoy the year 2014
